Lauren Knight Lewicki is, in all likelihood, one of if not the greatest female athlete in the history of Barnstable High School. Her accolades, as noted above, were unrivalled in her four-year tenure as a Red Raider, and many of her track & field records stand to this day. In all fairness, any sport Lauren attempted she quickly became the forerunning competitor but it may not quite be her own individual accomplishments and honors that set her apart, rather, the number of team wins and team championship titles she helped produced that set her at the apex of all female athletes and mark her as the quintessential of all women who donned the Red & White on the field of play.
